About Us

Annai College of Paramedical Science,Trichy was started by “K.K.O MOHAMED IBRAHIM EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST” which was registered in the year 2001 under Tamil Nadu Trust Registration Act. The trust is providing aged care services, particularly running homes for the aged. There was a growing trend of abandoning aged parents in old age homes due to multiple reasons, and the Trust was started to address this issue.

The founders of Annai College of Paramedical Science ,Approved by Govt. of Tamilnadu G.O. (MS) No. 381(HI) & 400(ANM) have vast experience in community and Educational development activities and have very good rapport with downtrodden communities for years. According to the World Health Organization’s recommendations, one doctor requires at least 8 support health personnel and this means that India needs more than 12 lakhs doctors and about 96 lakhs support staff. In addition, the strength of support personnel is also inadequate and developing use of technology in the field of medicine has resulted in a number of specializations. Hence there is a growing demand for trained personnel in the field of medicine. At the same time there is growing number of unemployment in the country which affects the rural youth much. Annai College of Paramedical Science was started to caters these pressing needs.

Well qualified faculty members are an additional plus, which we feel will definitely enhance the credibility of the college. Though started with the Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Training Course, in future the college will cover all subjects related to medicine.

LIBRARY

Our library holds an impressive collection of all the important and relevant titles in almost areas of knowledge needed for an educator. Students also get to read almost all notable periodicals and newspapers and can effectively make use of our lending facility.

LANGUAGE LABORATORY

Effective communication between the teachers and students is very important and it is from the way that teachers speak that children learn the good use of language. Our language lab takes care of the phonetics skills of our students who are also future teachers.

ICT CENTER

Established with the aim to familiarize our students with the latest developments in Information Technology that is relevant to an educator in these fast changing times. We make it a point to equip the future educators who graduate from here with the skill in ICT.

Value added Programme

Apart from routine syllabus value added education Programmes in Basic Computer Knowledge, Classical Language (Tamil), English, French, Arabic, Soft Skills, Continous Medical Education(CME) etc., are conducted regularly.

Culturals, Sports and Gym

The Department of Physical Education conducts the Games and Sports events regularly to promote over-all personality development of students. A well equipped Multispeciality gym is an added feature.

TECHONOLOGY RESOURCE CENTER

It includes advanced equipments and aids for youth. Students can make use of various equipments like LCD and OHP projectors, Multimedia computers, and Digital cameras for study, presentations and lots more.
